Volunteer

The Emergency Food Box is operated entirely by volunteers. Each year, we benefit from approximately 5000 hours of volunteer time. Some volunteers work 1-2 times a month, some weekly and others simply help when they can. Some are on staff during our hours of operation, others help unload deliveries, pick up food rescue donations from local stores, work with data or help with property and building maintenance . It is only by their help that we are able to serve over 400 families a month.
