About
The Emergency Food Box was established in 1983 by a task force of concerned individuals from area churches. A start up gift of $4000 from the Churches United in Compassion and Concern provided the start up money for groceries. Today this faith - based ministry is still in operation, operating completely with volunteers and totally dependent on donations of food or money from the community or grants.
